First run it did 68mph with a portable GPS strapped to it. That was with a 18 tooth pinion gear. I am now running a 21 tooth, but have not remeasured mph. Now I converted my 18" 1kg racer to brushless as well, with an Aquacraft UL1 motor and 60A ESC that puts out almost 3/4 HP on 4S 4300mAh Lipos.
